The time has come for me to sit down and really think about how to end The Mole Man series! The little guy has been captured for long enough, his first followers will have moved on to bigger and more challenging reads – and new readers have still to be introduced to his incredible circumstances.

But, it is not as easy as it sounds… lots of loose ends need to be tied up, the emotional journeys of the characters need to brought to an exciting climax!

My target is to have it done by the end of the summer, to get my draft manuscript to my publisher – and await their comments and notes – my homework corrected like it was at school! That said, I love the feedback, considering suggestions and ideas from others – all of which will, I hope, make The Mole Man Part 3, the best instalment yet!

It’s scary to think that when we started with The Mole Man Part 1 in 2013, most of us had no clue what a pandemic was – David Cameron was UK Prime Minister, Brexit was not even a thing, and Andy Murray became Wimbledon Champion – and scarier still, most of the kids who will be able to read Part 3 were probably not born yet!

It is indeed time to get on with it!
